Success by collaboration

Business

We are currently working together with Boeing, Terma and Eurocopter. The first two companies also have an office in our premises in Hoogerheide. These commercial businesses consider the new training centre as an opportunity to gain access to the European market - and eventually the world market as well - via the Netherlands. We utilise training tools together.

Education

The World Class Aviation Academy works together with the Aircraft Maintenance & Training School. Both training institutes are members of the Aviation Training Group holding, offering technical aircraft maintenance training courses. The World Class Aviation Academy provides type-specific courses to professionals working in the aviation industry, whereas the Aircraft Maintenance & Training School provides elementary training courses to students at intermediary vocational schools who are starting their study of Aviation Technology. The elementary training course of the Aircraft Maintenance & Training School has been certified for the most part by EASA.

We also work together with the West Brabant Regional Training Centre. This collaboration allows us to keep abreast with the latest educational methods and enables us to meet your demands quickly, for instance regarding courses in Technical English.

Government

The World Class Aviation Academy collaborates closely with municipalities and the Province. We participate in several government projects and initiatives.

World Class Maintenance

World Class Maintenance is a national programme to stimulate the maintenance sector in the Netherlands and to put it on the (world) map. We support this initiative.

Maintenance Education Consortium
The MEC started three years ago from World Class Maintenance as a collaboration of all educational tiers in the South-Netherlands region involved in maintenance. The participants have one common goal: ensuring that there is sufficient and well-trained personnel for maintenance work. They have set up several projects to achieve this. An important project is the Dutch Institute for World Class Maintenance: a comprehensive vocational educational structure (Dutch VMBO-MBO-HBO-WO education, linked to research) in which all maintenance sectors - aviation, process, energy, maritime and infrastructural - are involved.

Aviolanda Woensdrecht
Another example of our participation is Aviolanda Woensdrecht; an integral area development in which planet, people and profit projects enhance one another. A training institute such as the WCAA is an important people-project for the development of the area.
