Core assignments:
- Instructing based on the given objective, tutoring and stimulating the students in their studies, and assisting during practical lessons.
- Developing courses in aviation safety and regularly examining the knowledge of the students and course participants on the subject matter taught.
- Determining the results, evaluating the learning process and providing information to the course manager.
- May be deployed to design or adjust parts of a course.
- May participate in internal evaluations and is able to initiate course adjustments.
- May participate in an external evaluation of a course or a specific instruction.
Education:
- Ability to work and think at MBO level (Intermediate Vocational Education).
- Educated in Aviation Technology.
Job requirements:
- Ample practical experience in professional Aviation Maintenance Technology.
- Basic knowledge of the testing and measuring equipment.
- Basic knowledge of the ground equipment used within the professional field.
- Knowledge of the relevant technical books, manuals, CAMS, flight logs, stock keeping records, and environmental registration systems.
- TTP knowledge.
- Knowledge of the automation systems used within the professional field.
- Preferably ample experience as an instructor.
- Prepared to work in the evening.
- Prepared to give theoretical lessons as well as on the job training (OJT); if required, within an international setting.
Skills:
- Performing preventive and corrective jobs within the professional field.
- Operating testing and measuring equipment and performing its user maintenance.
- Operating ground equipment and performing its user maintenance.
- Command of both the English and the Dutch languages.

U verzorgt de theoretische en/of praktijklessen voor één of meer van de Part 66 modules:
- 1: Mathematics
- 2: Physics
- 3: Electrical Fundamentals ,
- 4: Electronic Fundamentals
- 5: Digital techniques electronic Instrument systems
- 6: Materials & hardware
- 7: Maintenance practices
- 8: Basic aerodynamics
- 9: Human Factors
- 10: Aviation legislation
- 11: Turbine Aeroplane Aerodynamics, Structures & Systems
- 13: Aircraft Aerodynamics, Structures & Systems
- 14: Propulsion
- 15: Gas Turbine Engine
- 17: Propeller
Kerntaken:
- Geeft instructie aan de hand van de gegeven doelstelling, begeleidt en stimuleert hierbij de leerlingen en assisteert bij praktische lessen.
- Bepaalt de resultaten, evalueert het leerproces en verstrekt informatie aan de trainingmanager.
- Kan ingezet worden voor het ontwerpen of aanpassen van delen van een cursus.
- Kan participeren in interne evaluaties en kan aanpassingen van een cursus initiëren.
- Kan participeren in een externe evaluatie van een cursus of opleiding.
Opleiding:
- Tenminste HBO werk- en denkniveau voor het geven van theorielessen.
- Tenminste MBO werk- en denkniveau voor het geven van praktijklessen.
- Opleiding in vliegtuigonderhoud met aantoonbare inhoudelijke kennis van bovengenoemde modules.
- Minimaal 3 jaar aantoonbare werkervaring als technicus binnen vliegtuigonderhoud gerelateerd aan de relevante modules.
- Didactische aantekeningen (bekwaamheid).
Functie-eisen:
- Basiskennis van de test- en meetapparatuur.
- Basiskennis van de gronduitrusting gebruikt binnen het vakgebied.
- Beheersing van zowel Engels als Nederlands.
- Bereidheid om in het buitenland les te geven.
