Modules Basic Training Fokker Aircraft Services

fokkerPlease read further for an example of a custom made training package consisting of modules of the Basic Training for Fokker Aircraft Services.

Because of the nature, extent and complexity of maintenance of modern aircraft systems by B1 mechanics, Fokker Aircraft Services expressed the desire to retrain their B1-staff. We offered a customized solution, a training package consisting of different topics from the Basic Training, modules 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 11. These modules contain many topics in electrical engineering and electronics. Mainly these topics have changed in recent years. With this additional training, the B1-technicians aligned in terms of knowledge and skills with students in the current EASA Part-66 training. We offered the following topics:

Module 3 Electrical Fundamentals

3.10 Magnetism

3.12 DC- motor/generator theory

3.13 AC-theory

3.17 AC- generation

3.18 AC- motoren

Module 4 Electronic Fundamentals

4.3 servo mechanisms

Module 5 Digital Techniques

5.1 Electronic Instrument Systems

5.2 Numbering systems

5.3 Data conversion

5.4 Data buses

5.11 Electronic Displays

5.12 Electrostatic Sensitive Devices

5.15 Typical Electronic-Digital aircraft systems

Module 11

11.5 Instruments Avionics Systems

11.18 On board maintenace systems

Module Theory

6.11 Electrical cables and connectors

7.4 Avionics test Equipments

At a later stage we'll complete the curriculum with practical exercises that fit in the theoretical part of the course and connect to the daily practice of a B1 engineers at Fokker Aircraft Services.
