One of our training facilities is situated in Hoogerheide, in the municipality of Woensdrecht, to the south of Bergen op Zoom. There are five villages in the Woensdrecht municipal area: Woensdrecht, Hoogerheide, Huijbergen, Ossendrecht and Putte.

Brabantse Wal

Together with the Bergen op Zoom and Steenbergen municipalities, Woensdrecht forms the Brabantse Wal. This unique area of natural beauty is characterised by its folded landscape, which gradually changes over into the Zeeland polders.

Aviolanda Woensdrecht

Together with both Fokker companies, Fokker Elmo and Fokker Aircraft Services, we make up part of the Aviolanda Business Park, accounting for a significant proportion of industry in the municipality. We help shape the Aviolanda Woensdrecht development area, together with various regional and local organisations. Marcel Fränzel says, “As a training centre for prospective aviation technicians, the World Class Aviation Academy makes an essential contribution towards Woensdrecht’s ambition to be the ‘capital’ of aviation maintenance in Europe. The WCAA promotes knowledge, innovation, public relations and employment in our municipality. As the Mayor of Woensdrecht, I would like to invite employees and students from both inside and outside the Netherlands to experience the hospitality, warmth and natural beauty of our area.”
