Collaboration

Collaboration with companies

At present, we are collaborating with various major companies, educational institutions, the public sector and research organisations. Firms like BoeingEurocopter Training Services, Terma and CAE regard the WCAA as an opportunity to gain access to the European, and ultimately the world market via the Netherlands. We are using training resources on a joint basis.

Collaboration with education

As the WCAA, we form part of the Aviation Training Group holding company, as does the Aircraft Maintenance & Training School. We offer all kinds of technical training courses in the field of aircraft maintenance. The World Class Aviation Academy offers training courses for specific types of aircraft for professionals employed in the aviation industry. The Aircraft Maintenance & Training School gives elementary training courses for MBO (senior secondary vocational education) students of aviation technology. The basic training course of the Aircraft Maintenance & Training School is EASA approved (Part-66 and Part-147). This is how we work closely together with the education sector.

Collaboration with government

With regard to the public sector, we are based at Hoogerheide, in the municipality of Woensdrecht, in the Aviolanda Business Park. Aviolanda Woensdrecht is an integrated area development in which planet, people and profit projects bolster each other. A training institute like the WCAA is an important people-project in the area development.

Collaboration with research

In addition to companies, the education sector and the public sector, we collaborate with the TNO and National Aerospace Laboratory research institutes, which helps us keep abreast of innovations in the latest learning techniques and enables us to improve on a continual basis.
