Aeroplane Equipment Technology Instructor

 
Core assignments:
  • Provides instructions on the maintenance and use of both personal and –aeropane- type-related flying equipment, i.e. ground equipment and test equipment.
  • Developing courses in aviation safety and regularly examining the knowledge of the students and course participants on the subject matter taught.
  • Determining the results, evaluating the learning process and providing information to the course manager.
  • May be deployed to design or adjust parts of a course.
  • May participate in internal evaluations and is able to initiate course adjustments.
  • May participate in an external evaluation of a course or a specific instruction.

 

Education:
  • Ability to work and think at MBO level (Intermediate Vocational Education).
  • Educated in Aviation Technology.
 
Job requirements:
  • Ample practical experience in professional Aeroplane Equipment Technology .
  • Basic knowledge of the testing and measuring equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of the ground equipment used within the professional field.
  • Knowledge of the relevant technical books, manuals, CAMS, flight logs, stock keeping records, and environmental registration systems.
  • TTP knowledge.
  • Knowledge of the automation systems used within the professional field.
  • Preferably ample experience as an instructor.
  • Prepared to work in the evening.
  • Prepared to give theoretical lessons as well as on the job training (OJT); if required, within an international setting.

 

Skills:
  • Performing preventive and corrective jobs within the professional field.
  • Operating testing and measuring equipment and performing its user maintenance.
  • Operating ground equipment and performing its user maintenance.
  • Command of both the English and the Dutch languages.
